While this item is designed from the same type of wood pictured, each piece will have its own unique appearance and wood-grain. This may also cause color varations in the engraving burn process. We work hard to maintain the integrity of the original recipe as much as possible and there may be slight imperfections in the hand script of the recipe. 

Board Care: For display only, not for food or cutting. Hand wash with a soft cloth and dry thoroughly. Not dishwasher safe. Do not use abrasive sponges or cleaners. Do not submerge or soak.

Engraving quality is highly dependent on the quality of your photo(s) provided.

Photo Taking Tips:

• Place your recipe on a well lit, flat surface, as straight as possible
  
• Avoid casting any shadows over the recipe while taking the photo
  
• If the writing is faded or not legible, make a photocopy of the recipe by tracing over the writing with black ink
• Make sure the picture or scan is clear, bright, and not blurry
